Mi.lang.ka is my cultural bush name, gifted to me as a child. A name that carries identity, belonging, and ancestral connection. In our culture, your bush name and skin group reflect who you are, where you come from, and your place within generations of lineage and story.
Who is Mi.lang.ka?
I am a proud Djugun/Jabirr-Jabirr woman from the Kimberley region, shaped by saltwater Country, strong cultural roots, and the strength from my family who raised me.
I grew up surrounded by culture, my gran, mum, and uncle passing down knowledge through dreaming stories, songs, and everyday moments that quietly grounded me in who I am.
Having worked in the hair and beauty industry for over 25 years, I have spent much of my life helping others look and feel their best.
Through those years of running and managing businesses in the fast pace of the beauty world, I began to see what people truly needed, a moment to pause.
Mi.lang.ka Collective was born from this understanding.

Mi.lang.ka Collective is a proudly Indigenous Australian wellbeing and lifestyle brand, created as an invitation to slow down, to pause, to reconnect and embrace the quiet moments that gently replenish the soul.
It is a reflection of my own journey to find balance amidst the noise of our day to day life.
In my own life, I find calm in the simple things: walking nature trails, making art as a form of meditation, sharing time with family, or enjoying a relaxed ‘pjarmers day’ at home with my husband.
These moments are how I return to myself. It is about creating sacred pauses in a busy world and remembering that your well-being is a story worth honouring every single day.
